While most of the details about the upcoming Apex Legends Season 2 Battle Pass are still under wraps, a few details have been teased to prepare players for a special stream event to be held on June 8th. However, we know several things about next season's battle pass including some big quality of life changes and better rewards in response to the community's lackluster response to Season 1.
Most notably, players will find new ways to level their Battle Pass through both daily and weekly challenges. According to the blog post written by Lee Horn, players should find interesting challenges and that players will "feel more rapid Battle Pass progression and the journey will hopefully be more fun and interesting". Further, it provides players who have less time to spend in game with a clear path to progressing through the reward tiers.
More Legendary Items will be added as well. Legendary items will be rewarded every 25 Battle Pass levels on the premium track. "Our goal is to have a nice balance of cool character exclusives and cosmetics for everyone (like weapon skins).
Premium Battle Pass rewards will no longer include badges or stat tracker rewards, but new things will be added.
We’re replacing the Voice Lines with Crafting Metal rewards. You’ll now be able to earn enough Crafting Metals (1,200) to craft the Legendary item of your choosing. So, if there’s an existing item you’ve been coveting, you’ll be able to get it in Season 2. You can still get additional Crafting Metals from the various Apex Pack rewards in the Battle Pass as well.
