The Anthem team took to the airwaves earlier this week to show off more of the game that is set for release in February. This time, Game Director Jon Warner and Lead Producers Ben Irving and Mike Gamble provided viewers with a great look at the Interceptor Javelin. It is considered the agile, fast-moving Javelin. Strongholds were also showcased as being the Anthem-equivalent of dungeons.
At the end of the stream, the trio of devs spent time answering a few questions, most notably one asking about the inclusion of raids. While raids won't be present at launch, there will be "aspirational content" for those more hardcore players to pursue at endgame. This content will be launched into the game shortly after release.
Players who like dungeon running, but who don't have a steady group to travel with, will be able to utilize the matchmaking system to find partners to join up with. Matchmaking is, of course, completely optional and those who have groups already formed will not have to use it at all.
Check out the stream below and then head to the Anthem site to learn more about the game.
