EVE Online has been pushing a narrative focus for the last few years, and with the recent Uprising expansion announcement, it's kicking into high gear.
EVE Online's latest narrative push sees a similar site for those who remember the Triglavian Invasion. A star looks to be in the process of being harvested by the Amarr in a system on the frontlines of faction warfare. Deploying the Stellar Transmuter that was left on the battlefield during the Invasion days, the Turnur system is seeing plenty of excitement this morning as capsuleers gather to see what is going to happen.
As of writing, there are over 1300 people in local, a number usually reserved for wars and Jita. Additionally, almost 3000 people are watching the drama unfold on the official Twitch channel as well.

As it focuses on the warfare between the different NPC empires and alliances, the fact that one of the major empires is deploying a potentially universe changing device is generating some excitement.
