Another Pax Dei Plot Cleanup is Happening Tomorrow, With a Change in Qualifying Criteria

A month after the Pax Dei team cleaned up some inactive plots, they’ve announced that there will be another cleanup tomorrow. This time, they’ve also adjusted the criteria for what qualifies as inactive eligible.

Previously, the team laid out four criteria that all had to be met in order for your plot to be considered inactive. Now, there are five. In addition to not having logged in for the past 28 days, your plot must have fewer than 20 building pieces, and fewer than seven chests and seven crafters on it. Now, since the addition of market stalls, the new qualifier is that your plot must have no market stall.

The cleanup will take place tomorrow, February 28th, at 5am ET / 10am UTC.

Given that these cleanups to free up inactive spaces and let others grow by keeping things moving, these criteria remain pretty conservative. Since you’d have to meet all five, it’s not too hard to find ways to keep your own plot from being wiped for inactivity. Even if that just means logging in every month. So if your plot is getting caught in the cleanup, Mainframe has made their case for inactivity.

It is Early Access, and activity dips in an unfinished game aren’t surprising. The Pax Dei team is looking into automating regular plot cleanups in the future, so people will be able to expect it and plan accordingly.

Even if your plot is wiped for space, you don’t lose anything and can rebuild somewhere later. Mainframe does note that these cleanups usually do free up a significant enough amount of space, but if you are trying to find a plot in a popular area, you may not see much of a difference.
