This is a big week for Overwatch and Blizzard is pulling out all the stops. Starting today and running through June 11th, players can take part in the 2nd annual anniversary event that will bring 60 new anniversary items into the game as well as mark the return of 130 items from last year. In addition, the new Petra Deathmatch map is now live. But wait! That's not all!
In addition, a special free-play weekend will be taking place from May 25th to May 28th with the full game unlocked on all platforms. Any items earned and all player progress will remain should a player choose to purchase Overwatch.
And it's a great time to do just that. From now through June 5th, both editions of Overwatch are $20 off meaning the standard edition is a sweet $20 and the Legendary Edition is $40.
