Amazon has teased new details for the New World preview arriving next week.

In a tweet, the team shared,

“Keep a look out later this week for exact details on the upcoming #NewWorldPreview on our website and social!! Here's a sneak peek:

South America servers added

Asia Pacific servers added

New Content Creator Program

...and more to come!”

This preview is set for August 25 as of this writing. This followed the Density Test which took place on July 30. The test was meant to test the servers and general performance when under load. Additionally, in case you missed it, New World announced last month that the release would be delayed into 2021. No date was provided, but Amazon did provide a statement on the delay citing quality,

“As a result, we will be changing our launch date - and correspondingly, our final beta test - to spring 2021. We don't make the decision lightly, and we have urgency about getting the game to you as quickly as possible at the best quality -- with some additions that will make the experience even better.”
