Fresh off of the Brimstone Sands update and the opening of a number of regular new servers to handle increased demand, New World Fresh Start Worlds are coming next week. Amazon has released details on the rollout plan for these new servers, along with all the info you need to know before they’re available.
The Fresh Start Worlds will begin rolling out in phases, beginning on November 2nd at 12 PM ET, and open up in four hourly phases through 3PM ET. During this time, the first servers will open in Central Europe, South America,US-East, and US-West, followed by a second and a third server each in Central Europe and US-East at 1 PM ET and 2 PM ET, followed by five additional Fresh Start servers at 3 PM. Those last servers opening up in the final round will be in Central Europe, South America, US-East, US-West, and Australia (technically November 3rd for the region).
The final total will be four servers in Central Europe and US-East, two for US-West and South America, and one for Australia. Since there are a limited number of these servers, each with a population cap, there will be no language tagging for servers, so finding your community has to be done outside the game.
The team has also released a FAQ on need to know info before these new fresh servers open. With the blank slate nature of these servers, there will be all the territory available to claim, a fresh economy, and lots to be discovered. All of the currently released content will be included, and this includes the Brimstone Sands update and the revamped new player experience.
There will be no transfers of existing characters onto these new servers but you will be able to transfer your Fresh Start characters to a legacy server later. You also won’t be able to transfer from one Fresh Start server to another, so make sure you’ve got the right one in mind before rolling a new character.
To accommodate these new servers, New World will be adding a third character slot for all players.
