Amazon Games announced it will be publishing Disruptive Games' upcoming multiplayer title, adding it to its roster of games alongside Lost Ark and New World. The upcoming game is a multiplayer, action-adventure game based on what Disruptive calls a new IP.

If the name Disruptive doesn't ring a bell, the games they've worked on certainly will, as the team has worked with Blizzard on titles like Diablo II: Resurrected, as well as with Vicarious Visions on Tony Hawk Pro Skater 1 + 2 most recently.

Amazon and Disruptive Games states that the upcoming, super secret project will be a multiplatform, AAA title with co-operative multiplayer gameplay. CEO Eric Ellis stated in the press release that the team is looking forward to "building an online experience that kindles creativity and fosters positive social interactions."

He continued:

"The Amazon Games team has embraced our vision for this game and the community it can build. Their enthusiasm for the project and dedication to creating great games made publishing with them a natural choice for us. With their world-class publishing support, already demonstrated by the wildly successful launches of New World and Lost Ark, we’re well on our way to bringing this project to players.”

The press release also points prospective developers toward the studio's job openings, which specifically advertise the title as a AAA, Unreal Engine powered title that is very multiplayer heavy indeed. While we don't know much more than those marketing buzzwords, it'll be interesting to see how this progresses for Disruptive and Amazon.
