Get ready to be Contenders, diving into the creative chaos that Dungeon Creators set up for maximum spectacle and flair, because King of Meat is getting a closed alpha test from December 4th through the 14th.

Amazon Games and developer Glowmade are looking for fresh meat, ready to help them polish things up in King of Meat: Lights, Camera, ALPHA! This is an early test that will put you into the fray where you get to battle through dungeons, build creations and try to not just emerge alive, but also try to get famous and capture the attention of the bloodthirsty and judgmental audience.

We got to go hands on at Gamescom, and King of Meat is full of dark, demented fun and challenge.

In this alpha test, they're looking for feedback on Create mode (so bring your fiendish and destructive creativity), dungeon gameplay, and all of the other features. The test will be on PC, via Steam, and Xbox Series X|S in North America and Europe. The closed Alpha will be in English only and Xbox testers won't need to subscribe to Game Pass in order to participate.

Amazon has a brand new blog with full details on the alpha and a new video, the first in an episodic series to introduce you to the colorful and deadly game: What is King of Meat Episode 1: Co-Op Mayhem.

It’s a confidential alpha test under NDA, so you'll have to undergo the gauntlet of dungeons and try to win over the celebrity media and the audience in Loregok’s favorite pastime without sharing your experiences. Everything will be wiped before launch, so what will remain are your memories of the experience. So make it memorable by bringing your best ideas for both mayhem and survival with flair.

If you're interested in taking your shot to outshine everyone in the bloodiest spotlight as a Creator or Contender (both!) you can head over to sign up for testing.
