Amazon Games and Bandai Namco have announced a Blue Protocol closed technical test for North American and European players starting on November 8th.
This will be a closed, invite only technical test under NDA. If you are interested in participating, apply as soon as possible, because invites will start going out tomorrow, November 2nd. So if you do see an invite turn up in your inbox, you’ll get to set foot into Regnas and help the teams to polish up Blue Protocol's global release.
Content in the test includes character customization and chapter one of the story with full English voiceover and text. The five original classes will be playable, with weapon options to let you adapt your build and switch between classes as needed. Maybe you encounter a tough battle and you decide to add more healing skills, or need more damage, or some helpful modifiers. Finally, use Echoes, summonable magical creatures that boost your abilities and help you in battle.
There will be mounts, crafting, gear, and more to try. Take on activities solo, use the matchmaking feature, or find others who are looking to build a party.
The purpose of this technical test is to test the server infrastructure. To do this, they will be running this test from November 8th through November 10th on a single shared megaserver. This will transition players from the closest regional server to another when joining players in other regions.
The example given is a player who logs in from California but wants to play a friend in London, the megaserver will switch to the EU Central server when you join your friend. The megaserver will prioritize matchmaking with players from the same region, If there aren't enough for a particular activity, it will start pulling from other regions.
