Altis Gates: Closed Beta Begins Tonight!

IGG has announced that the Closed Beta for their upcoming MMOG, Altis Gates, will begin tonight at 8PM EST!

Additional details below:

Altis Gates Launches Closed Beta Tonight

IGG's new title Altis Gates (, a game full of magic and mystery, will officially begin its Closed Beta at 8:00pm EST (GMT-5) on February 2nd, 2010.

Unlike the short 3 day Alpha Test, the Closed Beta will last for 10 whole days of hack and slash fun! Players can obtain their Closed Beta activation key by taking part in one of the special events or by visiting one of IGG's many media partners. However, unlike the AT, all information and characters from the Closed Beta will deleted to prepare for the Open Beta.

This Closed Beta is a light version in which all the different races will adopt the Human form. Borgs and Elves will take on their original appearances in the upcoming Open Beta.

The Altis Gates team has also revamped the game client login interface so players can enjoy better graphics and easier to use functions. In addition, the game realm will be renamed Ocean, and the server name will be changed from the mundane AG debut to the more mysterious Atlantic. Also, if you were one of the lucky players to have picked up Platinum during the AT contest, you'll now have the chance to use it in the newly released AG Item Mall.

Altis Gates’ creative GMs have planned a whole series of exciting events, such as the GM Escort Mission, Hide and Seek to ensure that this CB will be a blast for everyone!

Visit the official Altis Gates website for more information.
