Albion Online’s new Europe server begins its open beta today, letting everyone check out the fresh new server, see how things connect, and earn some goodies they can take into the permanent launch.
Albion Europe represents a new way for those in the Europe and MENA regions, with the first two servers now Albion Asia and Albion Americas. All servers will feature custom timings for events, Including territory battles, Crystal League, faction warfare, and maintenance. This is even more important soon with the upcoming Foundations update adding Fortifications and new ways to siege and defend, with Prime Time being key.
Albion Online’s Europe server open beta runs from now through April 23rd.
The new server will formally launch on April 29th on all platforms. The fresh start server is, like the others, not region-restricted, so if you want a fresh start and can handle the performance and potential lag, then you can connect from anywhere.
If you take part in the beta and help the team finalize everything for the server launch, you'll be able to unlock a special vanity skin, the Duelist. The Duelist skin is shown off in the open beta launch video released today along with the announcement.
If you own a Founders pack, your progress will be three times faster in this challenge, so you'll unlock the skin faster and get to unlock a matching mount skin, the Crystal Lynx, also shown in the new video. Founders pack owners will get early server access, depending on tier, starting April 24th, so this speedier progression makes sense. Other perks include character and guild name reservations when that early access opens.
