Sandbox Interactive has announced more on Albion Online’s new European server, along with a new trailer. This comes ahead of tomorrow’s opening of Founder Pack sales.
Albion Europe, serving the Europe and MENA regions, will join the renamed Albion Americas (Albion West) and Albion Asia (which opened as Albion East last year) in April. Closed beta will launch on April 3rd and open beta on April 10th, before the new server has its official opening on April 29th. With the opening of the new server, there will be support for two additional languages, Arabic and Turkish. Announced initially with just some detail, now we have info on the full run of dates.
Founder Pack sales will begin tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. UTC (a day later than initially announced) and will be available in several tiers. Similar to the opening of Albion East last year, access to both the closed beta phase and early access to the server will be governed by the type of pack you own. For those who want to reserve character or guild names, getting access to that perk via a pack purchase is pretty important.
When it comes to the opening of a new server, it offers a complete fresh start. You don’t have to be in the region to access Albion Europe, but the best performance will, of course, be in the intended service region. Albion Europe will also get its own event schedule to better fit the region, as with both other servers.
On April 3rd, there will be a closed beta Guild Season for those with Founders packs, as a short run to test things out in preparation for early access. If you participate, you can compete for rewards that will persist after the server opens.
Open beta starts on April 10th for everyone , including beta Guild Season access. Beta will end on April 23rd. Finally, when it comes to early access, those who own Crystal and Gold packs early access, starts April 24th. Silver owners get in on April 26th, and Bronze owners get one day of early access on April 28th.
