Over 2000 accounts were banned from Albion Online yesterday for third party currency transactions.

News of the ban was shared on the official forums which point to a breach of the Terms of Service which states,

“4.5.1 Users are prohibited from selling, purchasing, renting, leasing, offering, accepting, disseminating or copying Virtual Benefits, including Virtual Currency, within and/or outside the Game - in whatever form – to/from third parties unless expressly permitted by these Terms and Conditions or the Game Rules. [...]”

This isn’t the first time the team has had to bring down the banhammer. Just last month, the team banned over 1200 accounts for the same infraction. In related news, the Faction Warfare playtest is scheduled for February 26. You can take part in the test by logging on to the Staging server.
