Albion Online Receives Brimstone and Mist Update on October 21

Albion Online is set to receive a huge update on October 21 called Brimstone and Mist.

The new update is set to bring new enemies to Corrupted Dungeons, more fishing opportunities, balance changes, and more. New corrupted dungeons enemies will include the new boss called the Demonic Harbinger described as a sword-wielding demonic general.

New lesser demons, corrupted heretics, and hellhounds are also introduced. Also making the cut are new spike and lava traps, plus new mobs like demonic warlocks and demon lord. Roads of Avalon is getting a new update as well, receiving full integration for fishing. You’ll now be able to fish in ever roads of Avalon zone. Three new fish are introduced including the Whitefog Snapper, Clearhaze Snapper, and Puremist Snapper.

Combat balance changes are incoming as well which will primarily affect group PvP. As Combat Designer Michael Schwahn puts it,

“This balance patch mainly focuses on Crystal League and ZvZ fights, and especially on improving various abilities and items which have been underperforming recently. Other changes include adding the Harpoon ability to all spears via the W-slot and giving the Spirithunter a new E-ability."
