With the start of February, challenge has been refreshed over at Albion Online. The new monthly ring is available, along with a returning mount and a whole new referral season. This time, things get very carnival jester themed.

The Carnival Challenge is open and you’ll be able to get the Carnival Challenge Avatar Ring if you meet the monthly challenge point goal. If you use it you’ll get an avatar border with a jester hat for your character or one Adventurer’s Token if you prefer to trade it. The challenges you can complete weekly offer you chests with potential rewards like Adventurer’s Tomes, silver bags, and more. Wardrobe skins and three furniture items are also potentially in those chests. These include the Carnival Firework, the Carnival Arch, and the Carnival Costume Cart.

As for that mount, you’ll be able to get yourself a Saddled Terrorbird. If you need to get somewhere fast and could use the invisibility and speed burst spell it comes with, this just might be exactly what you’re looking for.

The new referral season also fits the carnival theme and will run through April 1. If you refer a friend who joins the game you’ll get a new jester horse mount skin and a T8 Pile of Tomes. This T8 Pile of Tomes is worth 200,000 Fame. The skin has a jester cap complete with bells on it that you can put on any horse you’d like. Once you unlock it, you’ll be able to use it on all your characters.

Additional referral bonuses for additional players invited can earn you things like a T7 Pile of Tomes or a T8 Pile of Tomes separate from the one you got for your first referral.
