Sandbox Interactive has been hard at work brandishing their Banhammer in Albion Online by banning over 1200 accounts that have participated in some type of third-party currency transaction.
In the forum post by community manager Mytherceria, the third-party sellers selling their silver is often purchased with Gold using stolen payment information. The explanation of these transactions is delved into in the post, but in addition to the simple fact that these transactions come from stolen cards and are often charged back, selling, purchasing and all extended variations within are against the Terms and Conditions for Albion Online:
4.5.1 Users are prohibited from selling, purchasing, renting, leasing, offering, accepting, disseminating or copying Virtual Benefits, including Virtual Currency, within and/or outside the Game - in whatever form – to/from third parties unless expressly permitted by these Terms and Conditions or the Game Rules. [...]

The recent bans may not be the only thing that makes players happy today, as Albion Online has also implemented an optional hotfix following their latest patch, that will fix a few crashes in very specific cases:
