Albion Online’s Horizons update won’t just focus on a series of big open-world changes and PvE content, there’s also a major UI overhaul tucked in. A new dev talk highlights and shows off these changes ahead of the update’s release on October 28th.

The UI changes include new features—most notably, the new HUD editor–and overall quality of life improvements to let you customize your gameplay experience. The introduction of Quick Settings presets will give you options to save various settings  for graphics, audio, and controls. Bind your settings to a key for instant switching.

That HUD editor will introduce extensive customization  and let you adjust almost every HUD element, including the scale, position, and opacity. Options within each element will vary depending on what they are, but you'll be able to  make changes to suit your preferences.

The new system lets you export your settings and import others’ settings if you see something you like and want to adopt it for yourself. You can  have multiple layouts and you can even assign them to a quick preset if you prefer.

Two of the other big changes are related, and they have to do with inventory and storage. The bank and chest UIs will get Move All and Repair All functions. This makes moving items between inventory and bank or between bank tabs fast. Similarly, you can repair items from within your bank tabs.  On the inventory side,  you'll get a better look at your inventory items because you can collapse your equipped items into a compact view and adjust the size of items in your inventory.  Four new sort options will let you find things faster. Those are estimated market value, tier, value by weight, and weight.

These are some of the changes that are coming to improve and personalize the player experience when Horizons arrives.
