Gameforge has a new update for AION Classic Europe. Update 2.8, Conquest, is live, raising the level cap, adding a brand new region, Alpheta Beluslan, along with a new battlefield, a new instance, and a number of improvements.

The level cap has been raised to 58 with this update, and you'll have new things to do, including new campaign quests, two new skills per class, new items and accessories to obtain, and of course, new rewards. The update also adds new crafting designs.

Conquest adds a brand new battlefield, Alpheta Beluslan, which is an area described as “an inverted space-time created by Tiamat’s experiments with an unearthly new power in Balaurea”. Once you hit Level 56, and you have the right amount of Kinah,  you'll be able to enter the new region. Both factions will use their respective worships to be their bases of operations as they head out into the region full of mutated creatures everywhere in this very twisted and changed land.

Every Saturday there will be a new world boss spawn and every day at 7:00 p.m. new monsters will start appearing. As you progress through the battlefield, if you conquer garrisons, you'll get daily and weekly quests to earn relics that you can trade to have increased AP and access to special merchants.

Level 56 is also the requirement for entering training and combat arenas.

The new instance is called Phaestos’ Disc, and it’s located in the new battlefield. This is  for those who have reached the new level cap of 58. If you choose to take on the challenge, you can head in there with a party of six once a week and reset is every Wednesday at 9:00 a.m.

There are a number of improvements, balance changes, and adjustments to content. The detailed announcement and notes are where you’ll find all of the details on what’s new, including rewards and gear.
