After the initial success of AION Classic Europe’s launch of the 2.7 update, Rise of the Revenant, Gameforge has announced that there are even more surprises coming for their one-year anniversary celebration.
There will be several in-game events to partake in, all coming with exclusive rewards that can only be earned from participation. Starting on April 24th, the event will include gift giveaways, boosted experiences, battles, and of course decor spread all across the cities for an added boost of celebratory fashion.
The limited-time boosts will increase Abyss Points experience and experience gained as a whole, as well as reduce the Soul Healer costs throughout the Anniversary Weekend boosts. The rewards from the events include items such as Major Ancient Crowns and Divine Serus, as well as Motion Cards and Enchantment Stones.
On top of the anniversary festivities, there will also be rewards for those who join the community from now until May 8th, as welcome gifts will be given to new players. The gifts can consist of many different items, including a seven-day Siel Energy subscription, a new character costume, and other useful items to give new players a leg up on their new journey.
The introduction of AION Classic allows new and veteran players alike a chance to get back to the game's roots in the lands of Atreia and brings nostalgia and new experiences to those who either missed out or just missed the old days in general. The developers say this is only the beginning, and more festivities and events will be hitting AION Classic in future updates.
