According to a tweet (via PCGamesN), an Age of Empires announcement is set to arrive on Monday August 19 during Gamescom.

While it’s uncertain which specific game that tweet refers to, we do know that there are two Age of Empire games in development: Age of Empires 2 Definitive Edition due this fall, and Age of Empires 4. We don’t know much about Age of Empires 4 apart from the one trailer we’ve seen thus far.
