Earlier this fall, many gaming fans were touched when Bethesda's Matt Grandstaff drove for over two hours to take a pre-release copy of Fallout 76 to 12-year-old Wes who wanted to play the game but was afraid he wouldn't live to see release day. Sadly, his prediction came true and he passed away on November 3rd. A few days after, Wes's GoFundMe page was updated with a $10,000 donation and a sweet message from the Bethesda development team.

"You have been an inspiration to the Fallout community and everyone at Bethesda. We will miss you, Wes. #WesStrong forever!" the message on Wes's GoFundMe page reads.

You can read our earlier coverage here.

Our thoughts go out to Wes's family in this difficult time.
