Group Ironman has arrived in RuneScape with today’s update. Members can jump into the new co-op mode with 2-5 friends to take on RuneScape on their own—together.
Put together your best team to take on combat, crafting, resource gathering, questing, boss fights, and additional challenges. You all have a shared group storage, but no access to outside trading, no Grand Exchange, and no XP bonus handouts. You could potentially divide up some tasks among the team if that works for you, or potentially figure out what you want to do while you are playing in the co-op mode.
The requirement to participate in Group Ironman is membership. You could be a veteran player that has been hanging around Gielinor for two decades or a new player that just started last month, as long as you put together a team to adventure with.
Of course, you could just experience the classic RuneScape journey from the start as a group. Since the mode is new, you could also make a plan to chase some world firsts or see what else you can use your combined skills to do. You are in it together, so you can trade with each other (including some otherwise untradeable stuff) and complete achievements as a team, in addition to taking on boss fights as a group.
The Group Ironman leaderboards are included in the update. If you and your team are particularly competitive, there's Competitive Group Ironman if you think you’re ready to go. Co-op is here, whether you want it to be a casual group affair or go all out competitive and work to share in glory and rewards, you can start today.
