Cartoon Network has announced that its new MOBA, Adventure Time Battle Party, has finally arrived at its official launch date. The game will launch today in the United States and in nearly two hundred more countries later this year.
Adventure Time Battle Party is a team-based, competitive online action game featuring Adventure Time heroes, villains, and everything in between. Set at Princess Bubblegum’s Royal Bash under the guise of celebrating the mightiest warriors in the land, the Battle Party is actually an experiment where PB can gather data to help understand why there’s fighting in the Land of Ooo. Each champion has a unique set of powers and a different play-style to master. Players can earn outfits for their champions as well as wield an array of Adventure Time weapons, magic amulets, and other iconic Ooo items.
The fast-paced and kid-friendly game is a new take on the MOBA genre. An “Arcade MOBA,” Adventure Time Battle Party is a streamlined experience, with intuitive champion builds, contextual help and quick gameplay. The highly detailed character designs are true to the award-winning animated television series and highly engaging during play. The game is browser-based and can be played anywhere without downloads and is completely free – character outfits and other items are available for purchase with in-game currency.
