Activision-Blizzard Announces Film & Television Studio

Ahead of the commencement of Blizzcon 2015, Activision-Blizzard has announced the formation of a new film studio called (unsurprisingly) Activision Blizzard Studios. The first announced project is a film based on the Call of Duty series followed by an animated television series based on the Skylanders IP. Given the robust number of games in the Activision-Blizzard stable, the studio has a rich number of interesting IPs to bring to life.
