World of Warcraft developers have announced that the action camera will be disabled for the time being until the team can track down and solve an issue that has caused many players to report motion sickness and headaches. These reports have been coming in frequently in numerous threads since the arrival of the v7.0 patch, though the issue also seemed present in alpha and beta testing.

Finally, we received a surprising number of reports from players that indicated they had somehow unknowingly activated “Action Cam.” For those who are unfamiliar, Action Cam is an experimental alternate form of camera control that is currently unfinished and not quite ready for the general public. It had become available through a console command in the Legion beta, but since it doesn’t give any unfair gameplay advantages and (so we thought) had to be expressly activated by the player, we’d left it accessible through that command.

In addition to the above, Legendary announced that the Warcraft movie would be released for digital download on September 13th, with physical edition Blu-ray, DvD and 4k versions coming out on September 27th. The Blu-ray version will have a motion comic, a teaser trailer from 2013, a documentary on the making of the movie and more.
