During the recently held Golden Joystick Awards CD Projekt RED executive Producer John Mamais that as much as the team loves the Witcher series, they're grateful to be working on Cyberpunk 2077 and consider it a breath of fresh air to move away from a medieval setting.
Mamais was on hand during the ceremony to accept several awards on behalf of the Witcher 3, including
- Studio Of The Year
- Best Gaming Performance
- Best Storytelling
- Best Viual Design
While short on details about Cyberpunk 2077, Mamais did indicate that the game would be really badass.
