A Literal Skeleton Crew Will Help in Sea of Thieves' Upcoming Season 16

Coming later this month, Sea of Thieves’ Season 16 is offering a new bot crew, as well as a heavy-hitting new weapon.  

The big help for many players will come more than bare bones, as the update introduces a skeleton crew—literally. Once dug up from the dirt, the skeleton-themed bots from the Order of Bone and Blade will be able to help players through their adventures, and even in “dungeon”-like areas. 

For those who are perfectly fine with firing their own cannons, the Cannon of Rage is introduced in Season 16 thanks to the Reaper faction leaving their gunk around. It’s a portable cannon that you can literally pick up and carry with you, essentially like a classic bazooka, or you can stick it onto a ship in lieu of a regular cannon. However, it does take fire damage over time. 

These new updates and the Battle Pass, as well as cosmetics for your skeleton crew, come on May 22—which is also the day Sea of Thieves launches for the Battle.net client.
