A Fond Look Back at 5 Years & Plans for the Future

Rift Executive Producer Chris Junior has penned the latest state of the game letter on the official site. In it, 'Archonix' thanks the community for supporting Rift and for being an inspiration for the development team. In addition, he takes a look back at 2015 and its four major updates, three tiers of raiding, Intrepid Instant Adventures, a new dungeon and the release of the Planetouched Wilds.

From here, Junior discusses some of the things that the team is working on for the future including:

• improving the Rift business model by bringing more exciting and fair ways to reward those who choose to invest in Rift, investment that leads to more stories and "amazing developments"
• v3.6: Celebration of the Ascended 5th Anniversary event with new quests, rewards and more
• the addition of multicore support as part of "the year of tech for Rift"
