A First Look at Update 11: Shadows of the Hist

During last week's E3, Zenimax's Matt Firor teased the next DLC for Elder Scrolls Online and today we've learned the first information about Update 11: Shadows of the Hist. Most notably, Shadows of the Hist will feature a pair of new dungeons and the ability for players to change race or appearance along with new hairstyles and adornments.

The Cradle of Shadows dungeon sees parties of four players stepping in alongside Argonians from the Dark Brotherhood to take the fight to rogue assassins. CoS comes in both Normal and Veteran flavors with players able to earn a new monster mask for defeating the final boss.

The Ruins of Mazzatun, or the Puzzle City, pits up to four players against slavelords and to free their captives on the way to a final boss to grab another monster mask among other rewards.

In the base game patch, exect the following

• Appearance, race and name change options
• Hel Ra Citadel, Aetherian Archive, and Dragonstar Arena improvements
• Text chat for console players
• Premium hairstyles and adornments
• Cyrodiil participants will be able to capture towns
