Ravendawn, the dynamic 2D top-down MMORPG by Tavernlight Games recently stated that their goal is to deliver a fair and enjoyable experience for all adventurers. In their latest announcement, the team highlighted some new partnerships and integrations meant to curb the continued cheating that they've witnessed.

In their latest announcement, Ravendawn expressed their staisfaction with Anybrain, an advanced AI-driven platform that has successfully detected and banned thousands of cheaters. The collaboration has helped remove bots and players that exploit the game in various ways, targeting behavior-based cheating patterns. Now, the team is stepping up their efforts with the introduction of yet another integration, BattlEye. BattlEye a widely used anti-cheat system that provides client-level protection against external exploits, and is used on games such as Destiny 2, Fortnite, and PlanetSide 2.

Tavernlight games believes that by combining Anybrain’s behavioral analysis with BattlEye’s external defense mechanisms, Ravendawn will have a two-tiered platform poised to detect and eliminate a wider range of exploits, and stop the cheating for good.

While BattlEye is popular, and widely used, it has been known to spawn its own issues, causing games not to launch or in some cases, crash altogether. The integration of BattlEye is expected to roll out with Update 2.0.5, which will also feature some additional gameplay enhancements such as a revamped Breeding System.

Looking ahead, Ravendawn teased its 2025 Roadmap, with some makor plans for late-game PvE content such as dungeons and raids, but as of now, there has been no word on when we can expect the Roadmap.  With a host of upcoming changes on the horizon and less cheaters to bother you while adventuring, players who have taken a break may want to pop back into Ravendawn for a spell this year.
