As New World’s preview is set to go live today, you might want to follow these steps in case you’re not seeing the client appear in your Steam library.
The team Tweeted out some helpful steps earlier, indicating what you can do if you’re not seeing the client. Here’s what you can try:
- Make sure that the game is not “Hidden” by going to the top of your Steam page, selecting “View”, and then “Hidden Games”.
- If the client is not under "Hidden Games", you may also need to clear your Steam Download cache (https://bit.ly/2YxhAjX).
- Exit from the Steam client completely (including the task bar) and then re-launch and re-login to Steam.
As a reminder, the old Density Test client won’t work for this preview. Additionally, the preview which begins today will not have any NDA. You’ll be able to share any content you wish. The preview is set to run from today through September 5th. There should be several servers available in multiple regions as well. You can check out the details here.
