When Heart of Fire launches, Neverwinter players will see a number of class balance updates. In an new series of blogs, the dev team is taking the time to introduce players to some of the most significant, this week with a special focus on Trickster Rogues and Control Wizards. According to the blog, "both of these classes have gotten the largest amount of changes overall".

Trickster Rogues will find that at-will, encounter, class feature and daily powers have all been "tweaked and updated to be more worthwhile". In addition, all three Feat trees have been retooled to give each a more unique and competitive feel. Stealth and Stealth Regen have also been adjusted a bit "to be less oppressive against other players, but more consistent for the Trickster Rogue".

Control Wizards will find that Arcane Mastery has undergone "numerous updates to make it more worthwhile for Arcane Powers".

By way of smaller changes, both Scourge Warlock and Oathbound Paladins have had some of their attack animations tweaked to feel less slow and / or clunky. The new animations promise "to make them feel faster and more fluid".

There’s also a couple of quality of life fixes that are minor, such as; Tanks now only require 10% of their stamina to start blocking (down from 20%) and holding down an at-will button will no longer be interrupted when using your tactical ability.  There are many other changes I could talk about like the Soul Puppet changes for Scourge Warlock, the Divinity changes for Devoted Cleric, or even the buff changes for Hunter Ranger, but I will leave it at that for you to explore for yourselves!

Check out the full details on the Neverwinter site.
