Exclusive Power Stones Overview Video Part 1 -

Mytheon Lead Designer Chris Rubyor provides a quick overview of Mytheon's Power Stones feature in this latest video available exclusively at

In the video, Chris Rubyor describes Mytheon as an online action rpg strategy game that is a bit like "Diablo meets Magic the Gathering."  Once you get into the game you'll have three classes to choose from: the Warcaster, which is a melee DPS class that can control a number of creatures to fight for them, next is the Elementalist, who is essentially the game's wizard class, controlling the elements of earth, air, water, and fire, they can also summon elemental creatures, and finally,  the Eidolon class, who hail fom Egypt and have come to aid the Greeks, though Chris doesn't elaborate on their gameplay mechanics here.

Power Stones come into play by allowing Man to challenge the Gods, who do not feel they are ready to take control of their own destiny. Chris then shows off the Power Stones, which come in three rarities, gold (the most rare), blue (uncommon) and gray (common), and you'll be able to slot these stones into what is called a "Battle Set," which is essentially like setting up your deck in a collectible card game like Magic: the Gathering. The deck size can range from 15-40 stones, allowing players to min/max their decks.

Stay tuned, because tomorrow we'll have part two where Chris really goes in-depth on the Power Stone system.

Watch part one here.
