The wait is over. Mount & Blade II Bannerlord is finally available on Early Access.
For those interested in jumping in quickly, Mount & Blade II Bannerlord will have a 10% release discount throughout the first two weeks. Those who already own a copy of any Mount & Blade title will be eligible for an additional 10% discount on select partners.
Additional details include the single-player where you’ll have access to Custom Battle and Campaign modes. The Campaign will be new for most players, but aims to provide a more structured traditional campaign set up most people are used to. Do note, you can completely ignore this if you want.
Multiplayer includes a continuation of the beta which involves Skirmish, Captain, Team Deathmatch, and Siege. Multiplayer will be continually worked on throughout the Early Access period, as noted by the team.
The team reminds us of the Early Access nature of the release, saying,
“There may be bugs and glitches, there will certainly be balancing issues, some features may be missing or currently disabled, and certain aspects of the game might not receive full-support until later down the line. You can expect to see reused scenes (our eventual aim is that each town and castle will have its own unique scene) as well as other types of placeholder content, such as voice lines, animations, quests, etc.”
