City Building Feature Released

City Building Feature Released - MMORPG.com

Star Vault has sent word that one of the most comprehensive patches for Mortal Online has been released into the game. The most notable feature in the update is the City Building ability that allows guilds to build a tower, own land, collect taxes, black-list undesirables and more. To show off the capabilities of the City Building feature, Star Vault has released a new trailer.

This features has now been fleshed out by giving guilds the option of building and upgrading a ton of new buildings. Guilds can freely build walls/houses/inns/banks etc on their land. There are no instancing and no placement slots. On top of this they can now hire almost any NPC in the game and add them to one of these buildings. If players buy from one of the hired vendors the guild will get taxes from the transaction. Further more guilds can hire guards to protect their city from other guilds and criminals or to keep everyone else out making the city something only their own guild can use. Using these simple tools guilds can now build massive cities that will be just as useful for players as our pre-made cities.

The patch also includes:

  • Farming
  • Animal breeders
  • New siege weapons
  • Updated F2P rules
  • New guildstone levels
  • Revamped mail system
  • New skills
  • New NPCs
  • UI improvements
  • Balance
  • Tons and tons of bugfixes and much more!

Read the full patch notes on the Mortal Online site.
