Heroes & Legends: Conquerors of Kolhar Overview

Heroes & Legends: Conquerors of Kolhar is an independent genre-blending RPG with elements of roguelikes and strategy games. The game takes place in a time of war against evil, as you assemble a party of five to take on the challenge. The game's central challenge lies in its fast-paced gameplay and in its extensive, deep cafting system. You will have to gear up your five adventurers for the situations they must face by creating your own items, armor, and consumables. You'll also have the opportunity to encounter special bonuses when exploring the map. The crafting system and attention you must pay to equipment is no accident. You'll be sending your party into battle via a strategic, automated combat system. Those strategy game elements come into play as your party members become units. The game also features over 100 monster types and other challenges in its quest against evil. FEATURES
  • Blends Genres in Fast-Paced RPG | Mechanics dawn from RPGs, roguelikes, and strategy games offer a fast pace to gameplay and challenges for players.
  • Extensive Crafting System | Battle creatures and collect loot in order to craft your own weapons, armor, and consumables like potions and scrolls when you level up.
  • Battle System Offers Strategic Challenge | Treating the party members as units in battle, players must gear them up and prepare for the battle ahead before sending them into strategic, but automated combat. Will your preparations be enough?
Not too heroic, actually...

We recently were given access to Phoenix Studios' new RPG, Heroes & Legends: Conquerors of Kolhar. Touted as an all out turn-based combat RPG, we expected something like Final Fantasy... that's not what we got. Watch and be sort of entertained? http://www.mmorpg.com
