The Minecraft team is celebrating some big numbers today: Over 122 million copies of the game have been sold and over 55 million players take part in the game on any given month. Those are impressive stats no matter who you are and definitely worthy of a self-congratulatory back slap.
Minecraft has been in release across multiple platforms since November 2011.
