Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment announced last week that $3.50 of every sale of the Orc-Slayer DLC coming with the next game would be going to the family of former employee, Michael Forgey, who recently passed away. However, fans noticed that the accompanying video said that funds would be donated from most US states, though not all, and that sales outside of the US would not be eligible. Under pressure, however, Warner Bros. has issued a terse and curiously details-free statement.
Target is probably in a bit of hot water after leaking an image with a brief description of the Shadow of Mordor sequel, Shadow of War. Quick-fingered Imgr users got a snap of the XBox One price point of $59.99 and shows a release date of August 22, 2017.

Michael Forgey, a producer on Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor, passed away earlier this spring after a battle with cancer. Forgey left behind a wife and three children. In support of the stricken man's family, gaming industry personnel have come together to start a charity auction that sees a number of gaming-related items up for bid.
Probably no surprise to many, Lauren Mary Kim, a motion-capture stuntwoman, has revealed via her online resume that she had just finished working on Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor 2. Regardless of how the news was released, it's great to know that it's on its way. Presumably more will be released during this year's convention season, perhaps at E3.
Warner Bros. Interactive has announced a new Game of the Year Edition for Middle Earth: Shadows of Mordor. The special edition of the game comes complete with two story packs, a host of skins and runes, a missions pack, challenge modes and a special 'photo mode'.

Monolith recently announced a brand new DLC for Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor. Called "The Bright Lord", the DLC will allow players to take on the role of Celebrimbor, wielder of a Ring, and a worthy opponent to wrest control from Sauron. A new, free DLC is being offered to Middle Earth: Shadow of Mordor players that allows them to play as a female character. The character's name is Lithariel, the Warrior and she is the leader of the Resistance.
The Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor team has announced that it will be releasing a new downloadable content package called "Lord of the Hunt". New screens were revealed on the Shadow of Mordor Facebook page.
Warner Bros. has announced that the XBox 360 and PlayStation 3 console versions of Middle Earth: Shadows of Mordor will be delayed until November 18th in North America,November 21st in the UK/EU. The PC version of the game is slated for September 30th (worldwide) and the PS4 / XBox One versions headed out on September 30th (NA) and October 3rd (UK/EU).
Fans of RPGs will be happy to hear that Middle-Earth: Shadow of Mordor has had its release date moved forward. The North American release will take place on September 30th, with the rest of the world seeing the game arrive on October 2nd.
