Gameforge is adding an entire expansion for free to Metin 2, which includes an enormous continent, new bosses, and new ways to become more powerful with the Champion System. The enormous addition, Conquerors of Yohara, is available, starting today, with some perks for veteran players who are level 101 and above.
Gameforge, publisher of such games as AION, NosTale, OGame, SoulWorker, and TERA, have announce the Conquerors of Yohara expansion to their MMORPG, Metin2.
For those looking for a blast from the past, look no further than Metin 2 and its arrival on Steam today. Originally released in 2006, Metin 2 has been sent to Steam by Webzen and Gameforge. The Steam version comes with new cards, badges and profile backgrounds. Players with already-existing Metin 2 accounts cannot yet link to Steam but it is a feature that is promised to be coming in the future.
Metin 2 players will want to head into the game to check out the latest expansion. Called "The Dark Dragons", the expansion opens up a new quest area filled with new monsters, gear, quests and more. In addition, the level cap has been increased.
Gameforge has announced that a large new update has been applied to Metin 2 servers. Called the "Devil's Catacomb", the update brings new quests, a new pet, welcome gifts and a Halloween event into the game.
Metin 2 has been updated and the dev team is proudly showing off a brand new trailer highlighting, among other things, new mounts and hairstyles that give bonuses to hit-, stamina- or mana- points.
Metin 2 will be holding a two year anniversary celebration event spanning two weekends. The dates for the event are June 27 and 28th, and July 4th and 5th. Players who log in during the event will receive a 50% bonus to XP, Gold, and Item drop rates.
