I Remember My First Gaming Mouse...

I Remember My First Gaming Mouse...

I remember first reading about a gaming mouse and thinking that it was just a bunch of BS. My current mouse already works, why do I need to pay seventy dollars for one, and how can it make me a better player? For years I refused that it was necessary for my gaming experience, and then I bought one. At first, it was just to prove them all wrong, to prove that it was a waste of my hard earned money. I know, spending $70 is not the smartest way to prove your friends are wrong.

Then I started to actually like it. It fit my hand so well, and its buttons made just the right type of clicky sound. Moving the mouse around felt more like dancing with it. And last, but not least, there were the lights, pulsating in a rhythm like war drums that brought my mind into a trance. I had to shamefully admit that it was I who was wrong. The mouse was indeed worth the money, as I do love things that have pulsating lights. I'm like a three year old that way.

David North / All my life I've been a gamer, from side scrolling adventures to shooters, it was only a mater of time before the RPG genre would grab a hold of me. My love for games grew so much that I started to make them. It grew even more, and now I also write about them.
