Happy N7 Day! New Trailer Champions Space Exploration

The Bioware team has put out a new teaser trailer for Mass Effect: Andromeda. Narrated by femShep Jennifer Hale, the video spotlights humankind's exploration of space before ending up with a forward look at what is clearly in-game footage. While Hale signs off as "Commander Shepard", Bioware has been unequivocal about the fact that the iconic star of the previous Mass Effect titles will not be part of Andromeda. Theme Park Attraction Coming to California's Great America

Bioware has just announced that a new Mass Effect-themed attraction will be opening at California's Great America in Santa Clara, California in 2016. The attraction will feature 3D technology and 4D effects with a live performer escorting attendees on a journey to a planet where they will fight to save the day.

Dragon Age: Inquisition Not a "Template"

In a new post on the NeoGAF site, Bioware's Aryn Flynn has indicated that while Dragon Age: Inquisition and Mass Effect will feature some similarities, Mass Effect 4 will build on its own unique experience. Some of the supposition stems from the fact that both utilize the Frostbite 4 game engine and that developers have said that ME4 will feature large explorable maps similar to what has been seen in Dragon Age: Inquisition.


Casey Hudson Leaves Bioware

Bioware Executive Producer Casey Hudson has left Bioware according to a new developer blog by Aaryn Flynn, BioWare Studio General Manager. According to the post, Hudson wrote to colleagues that, after sixteen years, he wanted to reevaluate his prospects. Hudson came under fire with the fan outrage surrounding Mass Effect 3 but was still heading up development of Mass Effect 4.


Confirmed at SDCC - Mako to Land in Game

The Mako, both loved and hated by fans of the series, will be present in Mass Effect 4. The vehicle opens up possibilities for open travel across the universe, much as it did in the first title. At last weekend's San Diego Comic Con, the Mass Effect team was on hand to share a bit of concept art, though new details about ME4 were scarce.


Bioware Looking for Input Via Survey

Bioware's Mike Gamble has posted a link on his Twitter account asking fans of the Mass Effect franchise to complete a short survey to "help us make the next Mass Effect game the best one yet". The survey asks players to identify games they have and are playing as well as their favorite aspects of the games they play.


New Worlds, New Characters to Fall in Love With

"We think fans of the series are going to be surprised at just how far we're going." Bioware has revealed a new video that shows off some very early conceptual footage of Mass Effect 4, a game that will take off without the legendary Commander Shepard. In addition, Bioware reveals a very small chunk of its completely new IP in development. The video is part of the EA E3 stream event.
