The latest Marvel Heroes Online superhero has been added to the game with the latest patch. The Human Torch has made his way into MHO along with a new zone, new "eternity splinters" that will replace the token system and new items in the in-game shop.
Gazillion Entertainment made a trio of announcements at this week's San Diego Comicon. According to the team, over 1.5 million users have registered to play Marvel Heroes Online. In addition, the first major patch/update will hit live service at the end of July. Lastly, the "Asgard" zone will be added to the game in early 2014.
According to Russian datamining site, Horadric.ru, it appears that some new heroes and villains will be heading into Marvel Heroes Online in the near future. This is all speculation, of course, but the information seems strong. Use Google's Chrome browser to see the site translated to English.

A short post by Marvel Heroes Online's Dave Brevik indicates that the early access for the game that was scheduled to being earlier today has been delayed. He promises that the team will not leave the office until the game can be played and is hoping that the required fixes will be in place in a few hours.

To mark the final beta weekend, Gazillion Entertainment has released a new trailer featuring Thor, Son of Asgard. The beta weekend will kick off on May 10th and run through May 13th. Enjoy!
Gazillion Entertainment has announced the "Power Up" Open Beta Weekend for Marvel Heroes. The open beta event coincides with the theatrical release of Iron Man 3 in movie theaters around the world. Marvel Heroes "Iron Man 3" Open Beta Weekend begins on Friday, May 3rd at 7:00 PM PDT and runs through Monday, May 6th at 10:00 AM PDT.
