The Marvel Heroes 2016 site has been updated with a new post from Creative Director Jesse Decker. In it, he lays out the development plans for the balance of 2017 and into 2018. From now through the end of 2017, content plans are revealed for the approximate month they will arrive. 2018's is more an extension of what developers have in mind as time permits towards the end of this year. More about further plans will be revealed in time.

Marvel Heroes Omega, the PlayStation 4 version of Marvel Heroes 2016, has started closed beta testing as of today. Closed beta testing will run from today through May 15th. In addition, Gazillion revealed "drop-in, two-player, couch co-op. It will also be part of the closed beta experience.

Gazillion Entertainment has announced that Marvel Heroes is coming to PlayStation 4 later this Spring. The PS4 version even gets its own special name, "Omega".

Marvel Heroes 2016 has been updated with the latest patch that brings Black Bolt into the game. He is the sixty-first playable hero to join the roster. In addition to Black Bolt, several other changes were put into effect with today's update.

The latest update has been released for Marvel Heroes 2016. Most notably, Henry McCoy, aka Beast, has joined the list of heroes and the new Jubilee Team-Up has also gone live. In addition, cosmic difficulty rewards have been updated, terminal bounty missions are back and Cosmic Artifacts are now part of the game.

Marvel Heroes 2016 players will want to jump into what feels almost like a brand new game thanks to today's deployment of the Biggest Update Ever. The new patch brings a boatload of changes to talents, items and brings the new Infinity System and Difficulty Slider into the game as well.

Marvel Heroes 2016 players will definitely want to check into the game once a day from now through January 1, 2017 for free gifts that can include the Punihser Dead Winter Team Up, a Mandroid pet, boosts to rare item finds, winter-themed exclusive items, mystery boxes, a random hero box and much, much more.

Marvel Heroes 2016 players will be able to watch their favorite superhero in action with the release of the Doctor Strange movie and then head into the game to find some inspired gear and themes waiting for them. A new Doctor Strange costume reminiscent of the movie outfit will be made available and players will be able to check out two Doctor Strange Team-Ups, one inspired by the comics, the other by the movie and that can be found in the new Sorcerer Supreme Mystery Box.

With the new Netflix Luke Cage series now fully available, Marvel Heroes 2016 players can enjoy some visual upgrades to the in-game character's costumes as well as the addition of a new costume inspired by the show.

Marvel Heroes 2016 is bringing a paire of Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. into the game with the release of Ghost Rider and Quake as Team-Up heroes.

The Marvel Heroes Online site has been updated with big news that a series of updates will be incoming that will update every Hero, every character build, including power points to include meaningful choices; revamping talents so that every Hero will have five sets; Heroes to be given both Defensive, Offensive and some with a Mechanic traits; Hero balance to improve the health of the game and much, much more.

Gazillion Entertainment and Ubitus have announced that the Korean version of Marvel Heroes 2016 has officially launched. The game is fully localized in Korea with other Asian versions set to be released in the future.
