Nexon has announced that MapleStory Adventures has officially launched on Facebook. The new game brings the game play of the original game to Facebook with what developers call "optimization for shorter gaming periods".

MapleStory players have a new battle mode to participate in with the recent "Ice Knight" update. The Ice Knight Battle mode also includes a series of events that will run from now through August 9th.

Nexon has released details about Chaos, a series of content updates that will add to the world of MapleStory, and its contribution for this week is Age of Battle. Three content patches already in and Nexon promises more in the next few weeks. Check it out.

MapleStory players who want to get a head start downloading the Age of Heroes update scheduled to go live later this week will want to head to the official site. MapleStory servers are currently down while the content patch is applied.

Nexon has announced that the Age of Heroes update to its 2D side-scrolling MMO, MapleStory, will be deployed later this summer and that it will bring chaos to the game. The update will bring the Gate to the Future into MapleStory, a new zone packed with new mobs, quests and a brand new high level boss to battle.

MapleStory Adventures is the new 'tie-in' Facebook game based on the MMORPG, MapleStory. MapleStory Adventures has entered its closed beta phase of development. According to press information, on completion of the limited closed beta, the open beta will feature additional areas, new quests, additional customization options and more.

The epic PvP event of a lifetime has come to MapleStory... From May 25th to June 28th, the Winner Bake All PvP event is running live in MapleStory, and you need to join a side, Cake or Pie, and fight for your baked good of choice. MapleStory developers are excitedly celebrating six years of the game's history with the announcement that over eight million registered users have given MapleStory a try since launch. To celebrate, Nexon is rolling out a series of anniversary-themed in-game events and prizes throughout the entire month of May.

MapleStory players can now head to Chryse, a brand new explorable island that floats above the Orbis region. The new zone is specifically tailored for players in the 55-75 range with the ultimate goal of facing off against the island's boss, Xerxes.

MapleStory's Big Bang update is now complete with the addition of the third and final segment of the total overhaul of the game. With the third portion of Big Bang, the new Mechanic class has been added to the game.

Nexon devs have announced that a new Mechanic class will be added to MapleStory on January 19th. Mechanics, as the name implies, specialize in robotics and building mechanical devices. Mechanics are armed with flexible ranged attacks, map movements and group healing abilities.

Nexon and MapleStory devs have announced that two new character classes and a new town have been added to the game with the second installment of the Big Bang update. The two new classes are ranged fighters called the Wild Hunter and the Battle Mage. The new town, Edelstein, is a tech hub and offers players new quests and the opportunity to join the resistance to defeat a cult seeking to overthrown the town's defenses.
