The MapleStory 2 Head Start has officially kicked off and it comes with a massive patch that brings a number of new and updated features to the game as well as a new in-game event. The update features "changes improvements and lessons we learned from Closed Beta 1 and 2". The MapleStory 2 head start event runs from today through October 10th when the open beta begins.
From October 1st through November 8th, players can take part in the Pet Mania Event that requires Level 50 in order to acquire the quest.
Other notable changes / additions to MapleStory 2 include:
- the end of the Mushking Royale Pre-Season has ended and rewards will be sent to the in-game mail
- the Premium Shop has opened
- the Red Meret Shop has opened
- a laundry list of changes and improvements have been added
