Nexon America has announced that MapleStory 2 will officially launch on October 10th. In preparation for launch day, Nexon is running the Mushking Royale Pre-Season that will run from August 22nd through October 1st. This will allow players to create characters and reserve their favorite character names.
Mushking Battle Royale is a standalone version of the mode that will be part of MapleStory 2 when it launches. Those who score top honors during the pre-season event will win Founder's Packs that contain a number of in-game items.
In addition, those who purchase a Founder's Pack will have a Head Start event before the October 10th retail launch. Founder's Packs are priced at $24.99, $59.99 and $99.99. Each comes with a number of in-game items and perks as well as a limited number of Premium Club Membership days.
Lastly, launch will come packed with new content, holiday events, the Runeblade class, a dozen new dungeons and an increased level cap of 60.
