With the South Korean open beta of Lost Ark well underway, many western fans are feeling a bit blue about their inability to play. We've got you covered, however, with some gameplay footage being pumped out by testers. In today's, YouTube user "Phano" spends over an hour playing the Summoner while showing off the fast-paced action combat that Lost Ark embodies.

As you know, the Lost Ark open beta began in South Korea yesterday and today brings us some impressions videos from those those who managed to get in and play. Smilegate has swung the doors open for South Korean fans of Lost Ark as it has entered its open beta phase of testing. The project has been in the works for the past seven years with the game being built using the Unreal 3 Engine. Several new and updated features have been added for today's open beta launch including new story components and quality of life improvements alongside technical adjustments. Most of the changes came as a result of CBT tester feedback.

The open beta for Lost Ark is ready to kick off next week and to get players hyped for the big day, Smilegate has released over 10-minutes of gameplay action. Viewers get a good look at several of the game's features including players riding into battle to show off more than a few environments, character armors and battle sequences.

Smilegate recently held an event to announce the release of the South Korean open beta for Lost Ark. The game will be available to Korean players beginning on November 7th. Smilegate has been working on Lost Ark for seven years, spending nearly $90M USD.

The final Korean closed beta test for Lost Ark is set to get underway later this week. Three new classes will be featured in this round of testing: the Hawk Eye, Soul Master and Bard. To show players the capabilities of each, developers released a triple treat of trailers.

Smilegate is preparing for the next round of closed beta testing for Lost Ark. It is being readied for Korean players with registrations reopening on April 19th for the final CBT. Two new classes, Hawkeye and the Soul Master, will be introduced to the game. In addition, several new locations will be added, mainly solo-based instances, to the already numerous group-based areas. Players will be able to try out the battle mini-game and can collect cards by playing the game.

The game is doing very well and western fans have been trying to break into the closed beta as they have been launching. Here is what we know so far.

Lost Ark is ready to enter closed beta 2 in Korea. In order to show players what they can expect during CBT 2, players will be able to explore new islands, sail ships, fish and be subject to the weather system.

A brand new website has debuted just ahead of the second Lost Ark Korean closed beta. There is a lot of new information including world map features, information about sailing, classes, lore and more. 2p.com has an interesting article about three new classes and other changes coming to the second round of closed beta testing in Korea. The three classes coming with CBT 2 are Destroyer, Arcana and Summoner. These three come along with big improvements to character animations, monster death animations and balance tweaks to existing classes to make them feel more unique. Lastly, the quest system has been overhauled with some being removed and other modified to fit better.

Multiple sites are reporting that LostArkDB has learned from a Smilegate employee that the second Lost Ark Korean closed beta test will be ready to go in either June or July. There was no other information given, but it would be pretty exciting if this is true as Lost Ark is one of the most keenly anticipated titles coming out of the East.

Lost Ark is shaping up to be a pretty interesting MMO on the horizon. Reddit user 'BarefootNinjja' made a neat post with the six base classes and their attendant trio of advanced classes, what type of weapon will be used, and other useful data. As an example, an Assassin can become Shamanking, Pirate or Shadow, while Gunners can morph into Hawkeye, Devil Hunter or Blaster.
