LOTRO's Riders of Rohan Coming to Legendary Servers Mid-February

LOTRO’s Legendary Servers will receive Riders of Rohan in mid-February.

This information was shared on the forums by Cordovan earlier,

“We wanted to share with you today that the Riders of Rohan is currently planned to be released on the Legendary Worlds of Anor and Ithil in mid-February. We look forward to sharing more information with you in the near future. Thank you!”

However, it will not feature the special expansion versions due to legal reasons, as outlined by SSG_RedPanda when responding to a player who wrote,

“As promotion for those regions. Please re-release the big special expansion versions as You add those expansions to Legendary Servers. For example "Riders Of Rohan Legendary Edition" and "LoTRO Helm's Deep Premium Edition". Giving people a chance to get their hands on those versions that have not been available for years and years now. Some came with really nice mounts and outfits. Some of those things were pre-order exclusives like the Rohirrim shield on the back, but most things were not. They were exclusive to those large expansion packs yes, but not pre-order exclusive, therefore could still be included if pay at least as much for them that they cost in the past. They were even able to be bought after release with those items included (helm's deep on steam for almost a year after), so definetly not pre-order items. Simply remove the few pre-order items, but not the rest in those large expansion versions. If need info on what items acctually were pre-order I have screenshots of the old release pages with info and various links that details it all.”

SSG_RedPanda simply wrote,

“This is often asked for. We are legally unable to.”

However, SSG_RedPanda did confirm that the team is working on Rohan Neighborhoods, though it won’t make the mid-February launch.
