Livelock

Livelock, formerly World War Machine, from Tuque Games and Perfect World is a hybrid twin-stick top-shooter and multiplayer ARPG. It can be played solo or with up to three people online with one of three characters (Capital Intellects), and it follows a linear narrative, with re-playability coming in the form of an endless Survival Mode that’s procedurally generated.

Perfect World Entertainment has announced that Livelock has arrived for XBox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Livelock features three player cooperative play and is available through PWE's game platform, Arc.

Perfect World Entertainment has revealed the Livelock released date. Livelock is expected to launch simultaneously for XBox One, PlayStation 4 and PC on August 30th.

Perfect World Entertainment announced recently that it would be delaying Livelock across all platforms without a definite launch date in the foreseeable future. We had the opportunity to speak to Lead Game Designer Kevin Neibert to find out the motives behind the decision and the opportunities that will be realized as a result.

Tuque Games is a Montreal-based developer, and Livelock is their debut game coming to PS4, XB1, and PC soon. Seeing as how publisher Perfect World and Tuque just decided to delay the launch a bit, we’ve been spending time with the PC release candidate, and have a few thoughts to share on the top-down shooter slash Co-Op RPG.

A short post was made on the Livelock official site to let players know that the game's release, originally scheduled for August 2nd, has been delayed indefinetely. This includes the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC versions.

Perfect World Entertainment has released a brand new Livelock trailer that gives fans new information about the story behind the game.

MMORPG.com has partnered with Perfect World Entertainment and Tuque Games to give away 10 limited edition Livelock t-shirts featuring the character Hex.

Livelock is an upcoming top-down shooter-slash-online Action RPG from Tuque Games and Perfect World Entertainment. It’ll be on PC, XB1 and PS4, and it launches on August 2nd. We managed to catch up with Livelock’s lead designer Kevin Neibert to chat about the game, its reception since debuting at PAX, and what players can expect when it launches in just over a month.

Perfect World Entertainment has announced that its cooperative shooter Livelock will hit retail release on August 2, 2016. Livelock will be available for PlayStation 4, XBox One and PC beginning on that date. Players can preorder Livelock for any platform for $19.99 for a single copy or $44.99 for a 3-pack.

In the latest Livelock trailer, Kevin Neibert, lead game designer at Tuque Games, dives into the details about the cooperative apocalypse experience shown during PAX East 2016. The walkthrough video highlights some combat functions of each character as well as the unpredictability of enemies allowing players to have a unique game play experience every time they play Livelock.

One of the new games I saw at PAX East this year was Livelock, coming from Tuque Games and published by Perfect World. It's an action shooter, and action fans can just jump right in to the wall-to-wall combats, but it also has enough cool story behind it to keep players exploring the world and uncovering its secrets.

The final Livelock playable character has been revealed as Catalyst, a former member of the armed forces who carries on her family's legacy of service. You can check out her moves in the new trailer below and let us know what you think.
