Livelock, formerly World War Machine, from Tuque Games and Perfect World is a hybrid twin-stick top-shooter and multiplayer ARPG. It can be played solo or with up to three people online with one of three characters (Capital Intellects), and it follows a linear narrative, with re-playability coming in the form of an endless Survival Mode that’s procedurally generated.
Perfect World Entertainment has announced that Livelock has arrived for XBox One, PlayStation 4 and PC. Livelock features three player cooperative play and is available through PWE's game platform, Arc.

Livelock will be available for PlayStation 4, XBox One and PC beginning on that date. Players can preorder Livelock for any platform for $19.99 for a single copy or $44.99 for a 3-pack.
In the latest Livelock trailer, Kevin Neibert, lead game designer at Tuque Games, dives into the details about the cooperative apocalypse experience shown during PAX East 2016. The walkthrough video highlights some combat functions of each character as well as the unpredictability of enemies allowing players to have a unique game play experience every time they play Livelock.
One of the new games I saw at PAX East this year was Livelock, coming from Tuque Games and published by Perfect World. It's an action shooter, and action fans can just jump right in to the wall-to-wall combats, but it also has enough cool story behind it to keep players exploring the world and uncovering its secrets.
The final Livelock playable character has been revealed as Catalyst, a former member of the armed forces who carries on her family's legacy of service. You can check out her moves in the new trailer below and let us know what you think.
